The family business was founded in 1974 by Dr. Friedrich von Stutterheim and Dr. Jörg Wurm. It develops and produces products containing precious metals for surface technology: for industrial applications such as electrolysis for the production of hydrogen, for fuel cells, ECM, water treatment and cathodic corrosion protection.
Titanium or niobium substrates up to a size of 100 x 100 centimetres can be coated both in small batches and in large quantities in the in-house platinum electroplating facility. The range also includes ready-to-use platinum or cyanide-free gold baths for coating system components such as bipolar plates or wafers.
