The low-noise extraction and filtration system ACD 400.1 Ex from ULT is equipped with an explosion-proof fan in accordance with ATEX Ex II 2G T3. The extraction solution was developed for the extraction and filtration of dry, flammable and non-flammable gases and vapors in concentrations of up to 20% of the lower explosion limit.
Low-noise operation and low energy consumption
In addition to its properties as an Ex device, the ACD 400.1 Ex offers low-noise operation, low energy consumption and a high degree of flexibility with regard to changing workplaces or emission types. Thanks to the high degree of gas separation, the filtered clean gas can be fed back into the work area via the recirculation mode integrated as standard.
Safe due to earthing
The storage filter unit has a two-stage modular design. It consists of an M5 dust pre-filter and two adsorption filter modules (activated carbon). To prevent the ignition of flammable gases and vapors in the filter, the activated carbon filter elements and downstream components - such as the ATEX-compliant fan and the ATEX-compliant motor - are earthed and designed without ignition sources.
