List-Magnetik offers various probes for measuring coating thicknesses inside tubes or in the interiors of components. The probes can be swiveled through 90°. This means that when measuring under a steel beam, for example, the probe can be swiveled so that corners and openings can also be easily reached. The probes are operated with the compact and robust Top-Check measuring device.
Measurement in long or narrow pipes
Measuring in longer or very narrow pipes is more difficult. The DX1-FT probe can be used for these applications. It is ideal for pipe diameters from 10 mm and a measuring depth of up to 60 mm. The DX6-FT probe is recommended for thicker layers and larger internal diameters. Both probes are operated with the Mega-Check DX coating thickness gauge.
Measurement in containers
List-Magnetik even has a solution for the inside wall of a tank. A special telescopic rod is available for this purpose, which extends the user's arm by 1.70 meters. Any angle up to 180 degrees can be set. The Top-Check Ferro-1000 coating thickness gauge allows a gentle touchdown on the coating and tolerates positioning that is not possible vertically on the surface - the measurement remains accurate. The measured value can be transferred to an Android mobile device via a Bluetooth interface.
