Despite the current economic challenges, the woodworking and processing industry is in good spirits six months before LIGNA. Already, around two-thirds of long-standing LIGNA exhibitors have confirmed their participation for 2023.

From May 15 to 19, the woodworking and wood processing industry will meet at the world's leading trade fair LIGNA in Hannover. Exhibition space is already 75 percent booked up. "This positive development underpins the importance of LIGNA for the industry," says Dr. Bernhard Dirr, Managing Director of VDMA Woodworking Machinery. "After four years, this needs the face-to-face meeting in Hannover."

In addition to the presentation of tool and machine solutions, visitors to next year's show can also look forward to discussions of highly topical industry issues at the LIGNA.Stage. At the LIGNA.Campus, participants from research and education will present their training programs and research projects, and at the LIGNA.Future Square powered by VDMA, startups and others will showcase their business ideas. At LIGNA.Recruiting, professionals and companies will have the opportunity to present themselves in the digital job forum and exchange ideas in person during on-site matchmaking.
