Vacuum specialist Leybold has added a new model to its Clawvac series of dry claw vacuum pumps. The Clawvac CP B rough vacuum pump runs precisely and trouble-free even under harsh conditions and scores particularly well in processes with particles, vapors and contaminated gases.
Functional design
The pair of stainless steel claws rotates wear-free in the cylinder. The coated and corrosion-resistant vacuum chamber is easy to clean. The separate gearbox prevents oil contamination of the processes. The cooling of the clawvac also contributes to longer operating times. Thanks to the modular design, the end customer can dismantle and clean the scoop chamber and silencer themselves quickly and without outside help. It is also easy to remove layers and flush the inside of the pump.
Less downtime, longer maintenance intervals
All surfaces of the Clawvac that come into contact with media are easily accessible for the user, so that individual parts can be replaced quickly. For example, the housing and claws can be removed without having to readjust the gearbox control unit. The silencer ensures that the condensate is discharged via the drain opening. All these advantages have a positive effect on dirty processes. Overall, the Clawvac B ensures short downtimes and long maintenance intervals - 20,000 hours between oil changes and up to 48,000 hours between general overhauls.
