The GrindTec trade fair brand will be launched in Leipzig under the motto "From users for users". Prof. Dr. Wilfried Saxler, Managing Director of the Fachverband der Präzisionswerkzeugmechaniker e. V. (FDPW) comments: "The 'new' GrindTec concentrates and focuses on everything that makes up the precision tool mechanic trade." According to Saxler, this includes tool development, machining and manufacturing through grinding, sharpening, repairing, measuring and coating to digital support. With this concept of the GrindTec and the merger with Intec and Z, the Leipzig trade fair creates added value for visitors, who can now visit three trade fairs with the associated exhibitors with one admission ticket. The FDPW is and remains the conceptual and professional sponsor of the GrindTec.
The GrindTec expands the exhibitor program with various theme worlds. For example, specialist lectures and presentations of trade fair innovations will be offered in the GrindTec Forum. In addition, the competition for the Tool Grinder of the Year will take place. Visitors can also once again look forward to news from research at the GrindTec Campus. Another highlight will be the GrindTec Innovation Award, which will be presented for the second time.
