With Lamilux Sunsation, Lamilux Composites says it supplies the world's most UV-resistant GRP topcoat. It offers extreme color and gloss retention without color differences when peeling off stickers on surfaces. In weathering tests, for example in accordance with DIN EN ISO 4892-2, the GRP topcoat has demonstrated absolute resistance: According to this, it retains rich colors and maximum gloss even after 15 to 20 years of real weathering.
The use of the top coat thus reduces the effort required for the maintenance of exterior surfaces. Because if they retain their gloss, they do not need to be waxed as a preventive measure. The German Design Award honored Lamilux Composites for these properties and advantages with special mention in the "Excellent Product Design" category.
