The Interessengemeinschaft Brandschutz-Beschichtungen e.V. (IGSB) has elected a new board of directors. The IGSB was founded in 2012 by leading manufacturers of fire protection coatings and raw materials. Its aim is to provide information about modern intumescent fire protection coating systems.
Use of modern fire protection coatings
The three new board members Sebastian Moschel, Friederike Roth and Robin Rohleder took up their duties in May. CEO Sebastian Moschel emphasizes the importance of the IGSB as a competence center for passive fire protection: "The IGSB unites industry experts under one roof and offers bundled expertise in passive fire protection - for steel, but also for other construction materials." The common goal is to ensure the safety of people in buildings through effective fire protection. According to Friederike Roth, the aim is to promote the use of modern fire protection coatings. The IGSB offers building owners, planners, steel constructors and fabricators advice on passive fire protection coatings and their application. "We provide a comprehensive range of information," says Robin Rohleder.
Thanks to the outgoing Executive Board
The election of the new Executive Board also marks the end of an era in which the IGSB has grown continuously over many years and established itself as a reliable partner within the industry. "We would like to thank the previous Board of Directors for their work, their commitment and the successful development of the association since it was founded in 2012," says Roth.
