Hot-dip galvanized steel is much better protected against environmental inclusions if it is hot-dip galvanized before coating. The combination of hot-dip galvanizing and coating results in a much longer protection period than the sum of the protection period of the galvanizing and the coating. What's more, the coating can be colored for - and thus provide an eye-catcher in architecture or other areas.
