AI now also in thermal imaging technology: with "SuperScene" from Hikmicro, temperature, air or water leaks can be detected more quickly and inspected more intelligently. The algorithms can also be used in electronics.

Hikmicro, a provider of thermal imaging solutions, has launched two highly intelligent algorithms onto the market: SuperScene and SuperScene+. They are used for safe, automated and efficient inspections in residential construction, electrical engineering and industry. SuperScene and SuperScene+ are AI-controlled devices. They make specialized inspection tools for everyday challenges more accessible, cheaper and smarter.

Two target applications

SuperScene and SuperScene+ are the successors to SuperDetect, Hikmicro's first proprietary algorithm. SuperSceneis ideal for identifying air leaks, heat loss and moisture damage in homes and apartments and is available on Hikmicro's handheld and pocket devices. The feature is a deep learning algorithm designed to simplify inspection processes and perform home inspections faster. SuperSceneis currently available in the BETA phase.

Inspection of control cabinets and circuit boards

SuperScene+ provides automated risk detection for panel and board inspections and simplifies workflows with built-in algorithms that identify temperature measurement targets in specific scenarios and determine if anomalies are present. This significantly reduces the complexity of workflows for technicians and improves the safety of inspections and the reliability of results, while reducing the risk of failure and optimizing the efficiency of equipment lifecycle management.
