Hesse Lignal will restructure its product range and replace all solvent-based products with sustainable alternatives by 2030. "As a family-owned company, we see it as our duty to take responsibility for future generations," says Jens Hesse, managing director of paint and stain manufacturer Hesse Lignal. The surface specialist's sustainability strategy is to replace all solvent-based products with sustainable alternatives by 2030.
In addition, the surface specialist will increasingly offer products made from regenerative base materials such as water or renewable raw materials. The range already includes products with a Bio-Renewable Carbon (BRC) content of up to 30 percent and hydro coatings with a renewable content of around 10 percent. By 2030, the proportion of sustainable raw materials in the entire product portfolio is also to be expanded - a further step toward conserving resources.
