Generation and owner change at Mafac

Mafac has two new owners. The two managing directors Stefan Schaal and Armand Oostendorp are taking over the mechanical engineering company founded in 1968 from Joachim and Rainer Schwarz.

The handover of the company is the final step of the succession plan, which the two former managing directors and owners had been planning for some time and had initiated in stages. With the departure of Rainer Schwarz from the management, the company is now being handed over to the two successors. The change takes place at a time when the company is solidly positioned, focused on growth and increased efficiency, and positioned as a leading manufacturer of aqueous parts cleaning systems.

The two new company owners have participated in this development for many years. Stefan Schaal joined Mafac's development department in 2008. Armand Oostendorp has been with the company since 2001. It is now up to the new managing director and owner duo to lead Mafac into the next decade. The company will continue to drive forward its sales expansion. In the future, Mafac is to be positioned even more strongly with its application diversity as a partner for medium-sized and larger manufacturing companies.
