The official handover of the keys was led by Claudio Merengo, Gema Group President. The modern new building of Gema Switzerland GmbH is located in Gossau Sommerau, Switzerland, and marks a milestone in the company's development. In July, Gema will begin the move from its previous location in St. Gallen Winkeln to Gossau.
20,000 square meters of floor space
Gema's new headquarters have been built to modern standards and offer good conditions for the further development of the company's products and technologies. The building has 20,000 square meters of floor space. The large, light-flooded office areas create an open working atmosphere.
Laboratory, production areas and high-bay warehouse
The new building houses spacious production areas and a modern high-bay warehouse. The modern test and customer application laboratory offers around 60% more space and is equipped with four coating lines. This enables Gema to carry out coating tests for its customers efficiently and in a practical manner. In the new building, emphasis was also placed on environmentally friendly technologies, such as a PV system and a brine/water heat pump system for heating the building in order to minimize the company's ecological footprint.
