From 7 to 8 October 2025, the measurement technology manufacturer Mahr will be hosting its High Performance Surface Summit (HPS 25) in Göttingen for the first time. This event focuses on high-performance surfaces through the targeted interaction of research, measurement technology and industrial practice. The target group are people involved in the scientific analysis, metrological quantification and industrial application of functional surfaces.
Lectures on surface functionalization and characterization
The event aims to provide a forum for professional exchange between science and application. The two-day programme includes presentations by leading experts on current issues relating to surface functionalization and characterization in order to achieve efficiency-optimized machine elements and efficient series production. Modeling approaches, measurement strategies and implementation paths will be discussed together in order to achieve orientation in a changing industrial environment.
