ABB will be presenting solutions for safe, efficient and future-proof industrial applications at SPS 2025 in Nürnberg. Visitors will experience practical solutions for connectivity, production data acquisition and energy and load management.

Industrial companies and machine manufacturers today are facing a variety of challenges: They have to operate their systems reliably and efficiently. The requirements for sustainability and energy efficiency are constantly increasing. Added to this are changing regulatory conditions and the increasing pressure to become more flexible and competitive through digitalization and artificial intelligence (AI). At SPS 2025 in Nuremberg, ABB will show how these requirements can be implemented with new products and system solutions.

Focus topic Industrial AI

One focus of this year's SPS is Industrial AI. With its help, tasks can be completed more quickly and easily, whether during commissioning or when solving problems. A recent study by the VDMA on the potential of AI in mechanical engineering shows that the use of AI technologies can sustainably strengthen competitiveness. Among other things, it sees potential in the reduction of downtimes, faster adaptation of production processes and more efficient use of resources.

Integrated sensor technology and intelligent algorithms

ABB is taking the findings from the VDMA study and developing practical applications that companies can implement step by step. For example, the new AI-based Crealizer Assistant supports less experienced engineers in creating applications with the ABB Crealizer software platform, thus lowering the entry hurdle. Integrated into the ABB Drives operating system, Crealizer interacts in real time and can access high-resolution measurements. And with the new Emax3 circuit breaker, operators of critical infrastructure optimize their processes with integrated sensor technology, intelligent algorithms for predictive maintenance and cyber security certification according to Security Level 2.
