The colorSENSOR CFO250 color sensor complements the Micro-Epsilon color sensor portfolio. colorSENSOR CFO100 and colorSENSOR CFO200 sensors have measuring rates of 10 kHz and 30 kHz respectively. The focus is on displaying the precise results of the colors and outputting the measured values at just a few Hz. The new colorSENSOR CFO250, with a measuring rate of 30 kHz, now also offers significantly faster measurement data output at up to 500 Hz, with otherwise unchanged properties.
The taught-in colors are compared with the current measured value and evaluated internally by the controller (OK/NOK). Raw data can be provided in Lab or XYZ color spaces at up to 500 Hz via UDP, RS232 or the USB interface. The data is forwarded directly to the PLC via a simplified, binary 3-byte protocol, where it can be processed further.
