"The market declined by almost 5% overall, and the current year is difficult to forecast due to the complex world situation," he said.
Chief Executive Dr. Martin Kanert delved into the political issues and explained the VdL's most important projects. After the unanimous approval of the actions of the Executive Board, the agenda included personnel matters. Dr. Carl Epple (Epple Druckfarben) and Klaus-Georg Gast (Axalta Coating Systems) were elected to the Executive Committee by a large majority. Christian Wiemer (Geholit+Wiemer) was appointed honorary member of the VdL for his great services.
