Rowa Masterbatch will present the trend colors for 2027 at Fakuma. The palette ranges from natural tones to bold accent colors and is aimed at processors and product designers, including those in the plastics processing industry.

Rowa Masterbatch is bringing a color palette to Fakuma that, according to the company, reflects the design trends of 2027. The company will present seven shades that combine natural tones with striking accents. The colors will be displayed on sample panels, complemented by effect variations.

The focus is on the shades Luminous Blue, Energy Orange, Pop Pink, Meadowland Green, Clay, and Russet Brown. A design line is also being introduced. With this, the masterbatch manufacturer is targeting applications in various sectors, such as interior design, consumer goods, packaging, and automotive design.

Colors Ranging from Natural Tones to High-Impact Hues

Rowa Masterbatch describes Luminous Blue as a deep, luminous shade of blue that balances clarity and energy. The shade is said to be suitable for interior design and technical products, among other applications. Energy Orange is designed as a warm, dynamic shade. Pop Pink, on the other hand, deliberately emphasizes high visibility and an expressive effect.

With Meadowland Green and Clay, more nature-inspired tones take center stage. Meadowland Green evokes freshness, a sense of well-being, and wellness, and is particularly recommended for cosmetics packaging, fashion, and interior design. Clay ranges between beige, ochre, and taupe and is intended for applications where natural, high-quality surfaces are in demand. Russet Brown complements the palette with a warm brown featuring reddish-orange undertones, which is primarily associated with cozy and earthy design concepts.

Effect Variations Based on Coloro and WGSN

These color interpretations were developed in collaboration with the effect pigment manufacturer Kuncai. They are based on the color trends from Coloro and WGSN. In addition to the solid colors, effect variants were also created to provide additional visual appeal for plastic applications. At Fakuma, Rowa Masterbatch is showcasing these developments using sample panels.

The company highlights the connection between color shade and surface effect. Especially with shades like Clay, “metallic accents and tactile surfaces” can further enhance the sense of depth.
