EPG AG is delighted with the result achieved: "It shows that we are on the right track to position our company for the future," says CEO Dr. Andreas Zimmermann. He adds that the award is a signal to customers that EPG can offer environmentally friendly coating technologies, such as alternatives to chrome plating or the energy-intensive anodizing process.
EPG participated in this performance comparison for the first time and was able to achieve a silver award. The ecological performance, such as the use of environmentally friendly materials, but also ethical and social principles of the company were tested. Equally important is the treatment of suppliers. Here, too, EPG pays attention to the consideration of ecological objectives. All these performances had to be proven with reports or documents and afterwards Ecovadis made the evaluation.
