Fluorinated refrigerants are often used in compressed air drying, which damage the climate as so-called F-gases. Beko Technologies now offers the Drypoint RA refrigeration dryer in a version with the more environmentally and ozone-friendly refrigerant R513A. Users are thus equipped to meet the legal requirements of the future without any loss of performance. The Drypoint RA R513A refrigeration dryer is ideal under stable operating conditions and constant pressure dew points of + 3 °C. Beko Technologies offers the right model for every requirement, with capacities ranging from 20 to 17,600 m³/h.
Drypoint RA dries the compressed air by counter-flow heat exchange over the entire distance. The counter flow heat exchanger consists of an air-to-air heat exchanger and an air-to-refrigerant heat exchanger, among others, and cools the compressed air down to a temperature of +3 °C. The incoming, warm, compressed air is cooled by the counter flow heat exchanger. The incoming, warm, moisture-saturated compressed air is precooled in the air-to-air heat exchanger, which reduces the cooling capacity required in the downstream air-to-refrigerant heat exchanger and makes the system energy-efficient.
