Eisenmann successfully entered the market for automated wheel handling in May 2025 with the E-Gripper Wheel. The hybrid gripper is designed for different wheel sizes – for vehicles with combustion engines as well as electric vehicles. Low-maintenance linear guides ensure precise movements and gentle contact with the workpiece.
Pneumatic or electric operation
A key feature of the gripper is its flexible drive technology: it can be controlled pneumatically or operated electrically via a servo drive. Retrofitting is possible at a later date, allowing adaptation to individual production requirements and capacities.
Process reliability even in powder coating
For powder coating applications, the E-Gripper Wheel has a closed housing in which all moving components are integrated. This increases process reliability in demanding environments. Thanks to its low weight, the hybrid gripper is compatible with common robot models from leading manufacturers and supports the further automation of modern painting and coating processes.
