The machinery and plant manufacturer Dürr is adding a sealing robot cell with EcoRail HS and the two latest-generation EcoRS N20i and EcoRS L15i robots to its training center. The EcoShot Meter and EcoGun2 3D dispensing and application technology have also been added. The EcoTemp PT temperature control system is also included. It brings the highly viscous sealing material to the required temperature. Since May, customers at the company's headquarters in Bietigheim-Bissingen have been able to train in paint and sealant application under near-production conditions.
Wide range of training courses
Dr. José Gamero, Head of the Training Center: "The conversion enables us to provide ideal training for our customers who use the latest Dürr Sealing technology. We offer courses on mechanical maintenance of the technology as well as electrical maintenance of the assemblies and the control system." This new training cell can also be used for robot programming training and system operator training for the Sealing division.
Training under real conditions
Thanks to the additional robot cell, the training center is now able to respond more flexibly to customer requests and increase the number of parallel courses. In 2024, around 1,000 participants were trained in various technical disciplines in Bietigheim. In addition, around 100 training courses were held at customer locations.
