Axalta Coating Systems, a coatings company, and Dürr Systems AG, a mechanical and plant engineering company, have entered into a partnership to offer a digital painting solution. This combines Axalta's NextJet technology with Dürr's robot integration.
Digital and overspray-free
Digital painting, also known as overspray-free application, is an advanced painting method that enables precise paint application. Under the agreement, Dürr will act as a robotics integrator for Axalta NextJet for automotive OEMs.
Xaar part of the partnership
In 2023, Axalta and Xaar announced their partnership in the field of digital painting. Xaar will continue to be an integral part of the digital painting solutions that Axalta and Dürr will offer to the OEM market.
