The Velosolex, also known as "Solex", are bicycles with an auxiliary motor that were first manufactured in France in the 1940s and have been known worldwide ever since. Jens Randack has carefully and lovingly restored Velosolex, bringing each component to its original glory. He pays special attention to preserving the authentic details in order to preserve the original character of the bikes.
In collaboration with the Dörken company, apprentices provided the components of the restored Velosolex that were to be coated with a high-quality coating as part of a project. The trainees were thus able to further develop their surface coating skills and at the same time contribute to a charitable project: The restored Velosolexes are now being auctioned off for a good cause.
