Lucite 820 SolSilicate is a mineral façade paint in accordance with DIN 18363 2.4.1. The matt sol-silicate paint has a high diffusion capacity and color stability. This makes it particularly suitable for renovating historic buildings. However, it also provides new buildings with a durable and aesthetic coating. The silicate surface reliably prevents algae and fungal growth and ensures a healthy climate on the surface. The façade paint is highly UV-resistant and has a low chalking tendency, making it resistant to weathering and environmental influences.
Lotus effect reduces soiling
Lucite 844 SilicoTec is available for demanding façade coating applications. A special combination of binders and fillers has been used in this elegant matt silicone resin paint to create a lotus effect that significantly reduces the tendency of the façade to become soiled.
Waterproof and weatherproof
Lucite 844 SilicoTec also reliably protects against moss and algae growth thanks to its fungicidal and algicidal finish. In addition, the paint is highly water vapor permeable, waterproof and weather-resistant in accordance with DIN EN 1062. It offers protection against soiling, premature greening and the penetration of moisture from rain or condensation.
