Successful diploma project: Students of HTL Fulpmes have developed an automatic cleaning system for the measuring head of the liquid measuring instrument in the laboratory of the Schwaz paint factory.

Until now, the measuring probe of the liquid measuring instrument in the laboratory of Adler's Schwaz paint factory had to be laboriously cleaned by hand after each immersion in the paint. This is now a thing of the past, because Leonardo Gori, Fabian Strickner and Maximilian Thomann from HTL Fulpmes have developed an automatic cleaning system. Controlled by tablet, the measuring probe is thoroughly cleaned. Even drying and polishing are not to be missed. In addition, extremely little cleaning solution is consumed in this process.

"We are thrilled how perfectly and with what incredible motivation and precision the three boys have implemented the challenging task," praises Melanie Knapp from the Adler laboratory, who supervised the diploma project together with Johannes Hartmann and the head of Central Research and Development at Adler, Dr. Matthias Glätzle. The prototype is still in Fulpmes awaiting its presentation as a diploma project. But if Adler has its way, such a device will soon also find its way into the Schwaz paint factory.
