The German Painters' Day 2025 will take place on February 7 and 8, 2025 in Steinheim am Albuch, Swabia. The event will kick off with a keynote speech by Deutsche Automobil Treuhand GmbH. Uta Heller, Process Manager Research & Publications, will present the latest DAT report, which provides insights into consumer behavior in the workshop business. This will be followed by two specialist presentations on the challenges of modern technologies in everyday repair work, including the correct handling of high-voltage vehicles.
The latest generation of water-based paint
The main sponsor of the German Painters' Day, Akzo Nobel Coatings GmbH, will be presenting a new product. Armin Dürr, Technical Service Manager Germany, will present the company's new generation of water-based paints: "The new paint system is characterized above all by high productivity, ease of application and significant energy and time savings." A live product presentation from the paint booth will also take place on the second day of the event and will be broadcast on a screen for all participants.
Focus on the next generation
The second day will be dedicated to young talent. The national vehicle painting team, which was newly founded this year, will report on WorldSkills 2024. This will be followed by a panel discussion on the topic of "Desire or frustration - what motivates our young professionals?" Three young talents describe their experiences and express their expectations of company owners.
Race Legend in conversation
The program will be rounded off on Friday evening with a talk with race legend Christian Danner. The motorsport expert and Formula 1 co-commentator will give personal insights into his career - from his early successes as a racing driver in Formula 2, touring car racing and Formula 1 to his current work as a TV commentator.
