On November 29 and 30, 2023, the Copper Association, together with Friedrich Schiller University Jena, Chair of Metallic Materials / Otto Schott Institute, will host this year's materials conference, the 18th Copper Symposium. This year's main topics are hydrogen, simulation/modeling, digitalization, new materials, additive manufacturing, joining, process engineering, and nano and surface technology. A supporting program with excursions to various institutes and companies rounds off the event.
At the symposium, participants will exchange ideas on future developments within materials and manufacturing technology and define new research approaches. Those wishing to present their company or university at the event can book various packages. The event will take place at the Steigenberger Esplanade Jena, where a room contingent is also available.
