The Copper Symposium of the Copper Association will be held for the 18th time this year, this time in cooperation with the University of Jena. Innovative ideas for applications, processes, production optimization, etc., as well as concepts for application-oriented research with copper and copper alloys are expected at the study competition.
The projects will be evaluated by an independent jury from the copper processing industry and research. Interested parties can either enter the competition individually with appropriate concepts and ideas or, in consultation with the supervising lecturer, as part of a group of students or a research group. Participants may also be nominated by universities and industry, provided they meet the above criteria. Work dating back up to three years can also be submitted. The Innovation Award is endowed with 2,500 euros and is presented at the biennial Copper Symposium.
