Skilled workers are rare - even in the metal industry. The Women4Metals network aims to attract more women to the industry and support them in their careers.

As part of its efforts to recruit skilled workers, the copper association actively supports the "Women4 Metals" (W4M) initiative. The network aims to get women interested in the industry, place them in key positions and support them in their careers. The Copper Association sees this as a great opportunity to make the copper industry more attractive to female specialists, especially in engineering and materials science.

Support for the network

As a so-called "Marie Curie Supporter", the Copper Association is now an active member of the W4M community. The Women4Metals network also makes it possible to make joint appearances, e.g. at trade fairs or industry meetings. This also supports the exchange with companies in the metal industry.

Campaign to recruit skilled workers

With its campaign to recruit skilled workers, the copper association is drawing attention in the media and on its social media channels to the various training and career opportunities offered by the copper industry. Further information can be found on the association's website at www.kupfer.de.
