Chem-Trend will be exhibiting release agents and SurTec cleaners and passivations at Euroguss 2024. The solutions are sustainable as well as precisely tailored to the mold release agents used in die casting.

Chem-Trend and SurTec, both companies of the Freudenberg Chemical Specialities Group, will once again be presenting their solutions for the die casting industry. At Euroguss 2024 in Hall 7A from January 16 to 18, 2024, the partners will explain how the die casting industry can overcome upcoming challenges in the field of process chemicals. A central aspect of this is the coordination of component cleaning with the mold release agents used in die casting. Structural components, also in connection with giga-casting, and their high demands on microstructure quality, as well as component cleanliness and the advantages of rheocasting and sustainable solutions are central topics of the two exhibitors.

Many structural components are subsequently subjected to a WBK process. Ideally, the components are then prepared for the subsequent machining process using SurTec's passivations. While Chem-Trend will be focusing on HERA mould release agents, its partner will be focusing on its SurTec 650 solution for passivating aluminum and its low-temperature portfolio in the field of industrial parts cleaning. "At Euroguss 2024, we will be demonstrating application scenarios for our customers. These include the area of mould release agents as well as the immediate, efficient cleaning of surfaces and their optimal preparation for further processing steps," says Dr. Jens Krömer, Director Global Markets at SurTec.
