BYK is responding to the growing importance of the South American market in a global context by founding a new company based in São Paulo, Brazil. The BYK management appoints Carlos Roberto C. Duarte Coelho as local Managing Director. The economic dynamism of the region - particularly in the areas of paints and coatings, plastics applications and cosmetics - is a key growth driver. BYK is responding to this with the establishment of BYK do Brasil. This will enable the company to create the conditions for more intensive market development, faster response times and closer cooperation with local customers and partners. The new company will immediately take over local functions in the areas of marketing, sales and technical service and act as a direct contact for customers in Brazil and beyond.
