The Bodo Möller Chemie Group has opened a new laboratory for personal care products in Dubai Science Park. With this investment, the company is expanding its personal care business and strengthening its cooperation with BASF in the Middle East and Africa.
Covering around 100 square meters, the laboratory offers suitable equipment for physical and chemical testing, including stability tests and measurements of pH value, viscosity, density, and moisture content. Formulations for hair, skin, and body care products are developed and tested here – from shampoos and creams to sunscreen and baby products.
Technical competence center for the region
With the new location, Bodo Möller Chemie is creating its own technical infrastructure for the region. Manufacturers will have access to formulation support, application-specific testing, and technical advice. At the same time, the company is pushing ahead with its expansion in Africa and in countries such as Lebanon and Jordan.
The laboratory will serve as a central competence center and consolidate Bodo Möller Chemie's position as a solution provider in the growing personal care market.
