Bodo Möller Chemie appoints manager for South Africa

Jason Blyth is the new Managing Director for South Africa and Kenya at Bodo Möller Chemie. His tasks include increasing market presence and building partnerships.

With effect from July 1, 2025, Jason Blyth has taken over the position of Managing Director of Bodo Möller Chemie in South Africa and Kenya. In this role, the experienced chemical distribution specialist will be responsible for all of the company's business areas in sub-Saharan and East Africa. He will expand the regional market presence and further establish Bodo Möller Chemie as a solution provider for specialty chemicals.

Many years of experience

Jason Blyth has more than 20 years of experience in the distribution of chemicals. He has held various roles with a focus on strategic sales, market development and building long-term customer relationships. He has been with the Bodo Möller Chemie Group since 2020, where he was previously responsible for business development in the South African market. His main area of activity included chemical raw material solutions, especially in the areas of coatings, adhesives and formulated systems.

Partnerships with BASF, DuPont and Henkel

The focus of his new position will be on expanding market presence through new product solutions and intensifying partnerships with manufacturers such as BASF, Celanese, DOW, DuPont, Henkel and Huntsman. "I am looking forward to setting new impulses in the region with a committed team. Our strength as a solution provider lies in the combination of technical expertise, proximity to the market and genuine customer orientation," says Blyth.
