Distributor Biesterfeld is expanding its collaboration with Songwon CS, a manufacturer of specialty chemicals. With immediate effect, Biesterfeld will take over distribution of the Songnox CS and Songsorb CS product lines in additional countries. The expansion includes the Baltic states, Southeast Europe, Ukraine, and Romania.
The two companies were already working together in several European markets, including Italy, Austria, Poland, Spain, Hungary, and parts of Germany. With this expansion, Biesterfeld is strengthening its position in the field of additives for coatings, adhesives, sealants, and reaction resins.
Stabilizers for coatings, adhesives, and sealants
The Songnox CS and Songsorb CS product ranges include stabilizers that reduce the influence of light and heat on polymer-based systems. They are used in various applications in the CASE industry (CASE: Coatings, Adhesives, Sealants, Elastomers) and help to keep material properties stable throughout their service life. According to the companies, the products are designed to meet regulatory requirements and are available as ready-to-use mixtures, which should facilitate processing in the formulation.
Technical support and regional market presence
Biesterfeld says it brings its regional market knowledge and technical expertise to the partnership, while Songwon CS provides the product portfolio. The aim of the collaboration is to offer formulators in the respective markets a local contact and a reliable supply chain.
