As of August 1, 2026, Bastian Siglreithmaier has taken over as head of the DOMOTEX, didacta, parts2clean, and SurfaceTechnology GERMANY division at Deutsche Messe. The project managers for the individual trade shows will remain in their current roles.

As of August 1, 2026, Bastian Siglreithmaier has taken over as head of the DOMOTEX, didacta, parts2clean, and SurfaceTechnology GERMANY division within Deutsche Messe’s Trade and Consumer Fairs business unit. In his new role, the 29-year-old reports to Hendrik Rawe, who has headed the division since July 1, 2026.

This change also resolves the succession in department leadership: Siglreithmaier succeeds Rawe, who was previously responsible for the department himself. There will be no changes to the technical responsibilities within the individual events. Annette Levy will continue to serve as project manager for DOMOTEX, Björn Schneeberg for didacta, and Ramtin Randjbar-Moshtaghin for parts2clean and SurfaceTechnology GERMANY.

Career Path at the Company

Siglreithmaier has been with Deutsche Messe since 2016. He began his career with a dual study program. He then took on various roles in international sales, including managing key accounts and partners, as well as planning and organizing international trade show participations.

Before moving into his current position, he worked in Global Business Development. There, he was responsible for the strategic development of the international business, tapping into new business opportunities, and establishing new global event formats. In addition to his work at the company, he earned a Master of Science in Business with International Management in Amsterdam.

Continuity at parts2clean and SurfaceTechnology GERMANY

For the surface technology events parts2clean and SurfaceTechnology GERMANY, this personnel change primarily signifies a new organizational responsibility at the department level, while project responsibilities remain unchanged. This means that the teams’ content-related leadership remains in the hands of the previous managers, while Siglreithmaier assumes overall management of the department.

Hendrik Rawe highlights the new department head’s extensive experience within the company: “He knows Deutsche Messe and the trade show business from various perspectives.” With his experience in developing business opportunities and trade show formats, as well as his strategic vision, Siglreithmaier “brings outstanding qualifications to consistently further develop our events in collaboration with the project managers and teams, strengthen their market position, and tap into new growth opportunities.”
