GRT has established a European branch in Memmingerberg under the name GRTclean Europe GmbH. The aim is to provide more direct support to existing and new customers in the field of industrial component cleaning. There are plans to set up sales and service locations in other European countries and to establish laboratory capacities for technical cleanliness testing. In the medium term, an assembly and production structure in Europe is also planned.
Founded in 2010 and headquartered in Wuxi, China, the company specializes in cleaning systems for applications with high cleanliness requirements. Its fields of application include the automotive industry, electronics, medical technology, and aerospace.
Wide range of technologies for parts cleaning
GRT offers systems for aqueous cleaning processes, solvent-based processes, and hydrocarbon-based applications. The portfolio is complemented by robot-based cleaning systems, ultrasonic, immersion, and flood systems, as well as continuous flow systems with CNC-controlled axes. Solutions with integrated brush deburring and automated production sections are also part of the offering.
The systems are based on modular platform concepts that can be adapted to different component geometries, materials, and cleanliness requirements. Modules for cleaning, drying, or workpiece handling can be combined or expanded depending on the application.
Digitalization and artificial intelligence
One area of development for the company is the integration of digital functions. These include component recognition, adaptive cleaning processes, sensor technology for monitoring process media, and interfaces for Industry 4.0 environments. Applications based on artificial intelligence are intended to contribute to process monitoring and optimization.
Dieter Abler is responsible for the European branch as Director of Sales & Marketing. He will manage the development of sales and service structures in Europe.
