Application of the complex-looking paint has been simplified, says Nancy Lockhart, global product manager for color tints at Axalta. First, waterborne coatings are tinted with various layering systems to add depth and color. The final color is achieved through classic basecoat and clearcoat layers, making it easy to apply.
