Axalta Coating Systems introduces Standox Standofleet HS Pro Topcoat, a new high-performance topcoat system for the commercial vehicle and industrial markets. The launch is taking place in Europe and is aimed at refinishers who expect precision, process reliability, and reproducible quality.
Innovative binders at the heart of the system
At the heart of the Standofleet HS Pro Topcoat system are two newly developed binders: Standofleet MIX 720 Binder HS Pro and Standofleet MIX 725 Binder HS Pro. They expand the existing Standox mixing system and enable the topcoat to be specifically adapted to different application and drying requirements. The system is complemented by new additives that further optimize properties such as flow, open time, and drying speed.
Efficient processes through flexible drying
The new binder technology allows both forced drying at reduced temperatures and air drying overnight. This significantly reduces energy consumption and process times without compromising gloss, durability, or surface quality.

Standofleet HS Pro Topcoat is designed for a wide range of commercial applications – from buses and coaches to tankers and construction machinery. The modular system concept allows users to precisely tailor the topcoat to different operating conditions and loads.
