The shades in the "Routing" palette continue to focus on sustainability and functionality. The shades are developed using renewable, recycled and bio-based materials and are optimized for sensor-based driving systems.
Future trends as inspiration
Every year, the designers in the Coatings division sound out future trends and use these as the basis for developing new surfaces, structures and color locations. They draw their inspiration from various sources, from industry and fashion to technologies, consumer products and nature. In 2024, the Zenomenon and Efflorescence shades developed by BASF received the Red Dot Design Award.
