Vector is a private company founded in 1993. It employs 23 people and is based in the town of Tarnowo Podgórne, near Poznań. It supplies a wide range of industrial companies in Poland. The purchase price was not disclosed.
"Vector has a high profile in the Polish market and has great expertise," said Vagner Rego, head of Atlas Copco's Compressor Technology business area. "The acquisition will allow us to strengthen our presence in the region." The company will become part of the Service business unit within the Compressor Technology business area, the compressed air manufacturer says.
