Apprenticeships guarantee quality and are the answer to the shortage of skilled workers. In order to emphasize the importance and appreciation of training, the QIB would like to jointly present the "Everyone Needs Powder" award again this year. The QIB honors the best trainees in the profession of process mechanic for coating technology with a focus on powder coating. This award is intended to emphasize the importance and appreciation of training. After all, trainees are the future specialists who form the basis for the quality and future of the company.
Reward for good performance
All trainees who have successfully completed their training since the last PIB or will complete their training are eligible to take part. Membership of the training company in the QIB is not of interest. Applications can be submitted until October 17, 2025. In addition to a CV and certificates, the application documents include documentation of the final thesis and a brief description of the training company. An expert jury will select the best work from all applications and award it with prize money and a trophy.
Award ceremony at the Praxisforum
The award ceremony will take place as part of the Praxisforum Industriebeschichtung on November 13 and 14, 2025 in Wetzlar. The award winners will be informed in advance and invited to the Praxisforum 2025 (including overnight stay).
