PVR has developed the machine to improve the ultimate pressure to 50 mbar absolute and the continuous ultimate vacuum to 70 mbar absolute. The engineers in Italy have also succeeded in reducing the noise at the outlet. The sound pressure level, measured in accordance with the EN ISO 2151 standard, is 73 dB(A) in the 50 Hz version and 75 dB(A) in the 60 Hz version. The nominal suction capacity is 150 and 180 m³/h respectively.
PVR has also managed to ensure air cooling at a cost that is competitive on the global market, as the Italian company reports. The 50 Hz system is equipped with an IEC motor with 3 kW power and up to 3000 revolutions per minute, while the 60 Hz version has an IEC motor with 4 kW power and up to 3600 revolutions per minute.
The Italian manufacturer also offers the vacuum pump in various special versions. For example, there is the HCT version with high corrosion tolerance, the VFD version is equipped with a drive with variable frequency inverter, the Atex version is suitable for potentially explosive environments and the Ox version for environments with a particularly high oxygen content.
