Thanks to their coating and surface technology, the two coating systems Applicationmanager and Paint PerformAir (PPA) enable extreme time savings with high process reliability. The painting process is gentle on materials and resources. Because of their demonstrably high energy savings, the two high-performance units are important building blocks for improving the company's carbon footprint and carrying out painting work or repairs in the future in a climate-neutral way in accordance with the stringent requirements of environmental policy.
"Companies and businesses are faced with the challenge of complying with statutory climate protection requirements while at the same time ensuring cost-efficient services. Our jointly developed surface technology offers great potential for this balancing act to succeed," says Armin Dürr, Technical Manager at AkzoNobel. In the meantime, the technology has been recognized as eligible for funding, so that companies in Germany and Austria can apply for a government subsidy to purchase the equipment.
