The CO2eRepairCalculator was developed by AkzoNobel in conjunction with Carbon Neutral Repair to help customers using AkzoNobel products such as Sikkens and Lesonal improve their carbon footprint. The tool determines carbon levels during the painting and drying process - including energy consumption - and is directly linked to the vehicle repair products used. It provides data related to volatile organic compound (VOC) emissions, allowing customers to identify where improvements can be made.
"The CO2eRepairCalculator shows refinishers how changes in the products and processes they use not only have a direct impact on reducing CO2 emissions and energy costs, but also improve their productivity," adds Jeanette Ast-Leiner, Country Sales Manager Vehicle Refinishes Germany. "The tool is part of our Rethink initiative for refinishers, motivating them to rethink and reimagine sustainability across the entire paint refinish sector."
