Addition to LPW's PowerJet Compact CNp family of systems

3D-printed components require special treatment in post-processing due to special shapes and complex internal geometries. For this purpose, LPW Reinigungssysteme has expanded its "PowerJet Compact CNp" system family to include the "Clean AM" system.

According to the company, the new module is the first fully automatic standard cleaning system with integrated powder discharge and suitable drying for this specific field of application. "Clean AM" is suitable both for powder removal and for cleaning after subsequent processing of metallic printed components, such as medical implants.

The PowerJet Compact CNp series is thus now available in three versions: Module 1 "Clean" is used in final cleaning for classic fine cleaning requirements after machining. It is also suitable for pre-cleaning tasks for high-purity cleanroom applications. Module 2 stands for the new "Clean AM". Module 3 "Pure" is intended for adaptation to a gray or clean room. The media flows on all three module components are monitored by sensors. Connection to an online service, remote maintenance systems, a cloud-based LPW dashboard, and ongoing batch-related process value backup and evaluation is possible.
