The customer-specific automation of manufacturing processes is one of acp systems AG's core competencies, alongside technologies for industrial component cleaning with recycled CO2 and microdispensing. The automation business area has grown strongly in recent years as it is advancing in areas such as electronics and battery cell production, medical and microtechnology, energy technology and consumer electronics. The company has therefore created a new "Automation" board department. This brings together resources from the areas of automated handling and assembly, robotics, digitalization, software, inspection and testing. Thomas Lang was appointed to the Management Board with effect from February 1, 2025.

Now three members on the Management Board
Thomas Lang has more than 25 years of experience in the automation industry. During this time, he has held management positions at various companies. With CEO Dr. Fabian Schmutz and Dr.-Ing. Günther Schmauz, who is responsible for the Purity Technology division, the Management Board now has three members.
