From a pure galvanizing plant, Coatinc Bochum developed into a multifaceted full-service surface finisher with a wide range of products and services. After the company was founded on a former coal mine site, the facilities were repeatedly expanded and modernized. "Two traditional hot-dip galvanizing kettles primarily ensure optimum corrosion protection, but this is also made possible at the same site by powder coating or the duplex process," says Ludger Kröger, managing director of the Bochum plant. "But we also offer passivation."
The customer base includes medium-sized companies such as locksmiths and steel fabricators, but also series-production part manufacturers, mast builders and companies tied to corporate groups. A sophisticated, flexible and secure logistics system guarantees short order processing and ensures satisfaction on the customer side. Thanks to the short distance to the surrounding sister plants in Siegen, Scherpenzeel and Roermond, Coatinc Bochum is able to offer further finishing techniques such as wet coating, anodizing and high-temperature galvanizing.
