Due to Corona, the grinding conference was not held at the traditional venue in Stuttgart-Fellbach, but in digital format. The event featured 16 technical, excursion and keynote presentations on a wide range of topics. The focus was on the challenges and opportunities facing the grinding technology industry as a result of the diverse transformations driven by electrification in mobility, resource scarcity and climate change.
For the first time, the annual event was hosted by the Machine Tool Laboratory WZL of RWTH Aachen University together with the advisory board of the Schleiftagung. More than 100 participants from the grinding technology community gathered practically implementable impulses and discussed with the speakers.
