From old to new
Modernise conveyor systems cost-effectively

Renewing existing conveyor systems in parts and adapting them to new requirements represents an interesting economic alternative that is suitable for various types of conveyor technology, from board conveyor technology to electric monorail systems.
ReUse means combining old with new. In industry, ReUse can avoid high investments. But the pitfall is in the details. For example, in order to renew an existing conveyor system, careful and precise planning is indispensable. When it comes to reconditioning and manufacturing components, ReUse providers such as SEH Engineering need a high degree of flexibility, because every plant and within it every component comes under scrutiny and must be processed individually. For this purpose, a large part of the dismantled components is transported to the production facility of the northern German company, where they are reconditioned, adapted and then reused. A great deal of special know-how is required for this, after all the reuse plant is to comply with the latest safety and control technology specifications. Missing plant components, such as conveyor rails, switches and lifting stations, are newly manufactured by SEH according to requirements. If the plant is structurally particularly complex, SEH first checks the functionality and cost-effectiveness using test plants. Structural adaptation is also carried out digitally in advance using the Clash Detection interference contour analysis.
On the next page, you can find out how conveyor systems are created in this way that are particularly economical, energy-efficient, and low-maintenance.
